    Godzilla #38 (tbd, Yamazaki)


    A new Godzilla movie is officially in the works from Toho and the director of the massive hit Godzilla Minus One.

    The news came in a new post on social media from the official Godzilla movie X account. Nothing else was announced, other than the fact that production had been greenlit and that Takashi Yamazaki, the writer and director of Godzilla Minus One, was once again returning to write, direct, and handle VFX duties.

      Bin auch gespannt drauf! Es wird bestimmt mehr Budget geben und Yamazaki wollte im nächsten Teil ja ein zweites Monster einführen. King Gidorah?

      Und da "Godzilla" "Minus One" überlebt, kann es sogar direkt dort weitergehen. Würde aber einen vom ersten losgelösten Teil lieber sehen.

A portion of that money will be invested in the Godzilla franchise, which includes a direct sequel to Godzilla Minus One. Production could begin as early as late 2025.

      In November, Toho announced that Takashi Yamazaki, the writer and director of Godzilla Minus One, would return to write, direct, and handle the VFX on another Godzilla movie. At the Visual Effects Awards in February, Yamazaki revealed that he’s working on storyboards and a screenplay for his new Godzilla movie. Yamazaki also said the film would have a bigger budget.

        So, wie`s aussieht, haben Toho große, globale Pläne. Ich freue mich jedenfalls auf anständige Konkurrenz gegenüber den wokeness geschwächten westlichen Studios.
