Hi, Dear Members

Things are bit quiet lately as you can see. That is because nothing got too excited about. Normally I will be more than happy to announce something that is more concete and final. Since some of you have asked, now I would like to share some information I collected and I knew about the upcoming Blufans releases.

First of all, unhappy news for some members, but good news for your wallets

1) All Blufans Disney releases are delayed due to the pending distributor agreement with Disney China and its partner. The ongoing negotiation between big players seems taking forever. There is nothing Blufans can do but keep on waiting. Hopefully, everything will be back to normal soon enough. We will see a stream of Blufans X Disney X Marvel releases around winter 2019.

Then happy news for some members, but bad news for your wallets

2) Venom

Because of a super limited print run for the WEA steelbook (2000 copies only), the release will be the first ever Blufans release with a mix of BE WEA and OAB WWA steelbook. The public group buy will be on June 15th. The VIP group buy will be a week early. More details will be revealed this weekend.

3) Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse

The print run is around 3000 copies. 4 editions (1 click boxset+ 1/4 slip FanBox set) The release will be around mid July. The group buy will be at the end of June.

4) Deadpool 2 Once Upon A Deadpool

The release will also include the uncut version of Deadpool 2. The print run is pretty low with 2000 copies. The release will be out in early August.

5) Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald

The release will likely be switched to WWA OAB instead of WEA release.
No release date yet.

6) In between above these WEA releases, there will be some new OAB releases. The detailed group buy announcement will be posted once the information is confirmed.

7) The Incredible Hulk

The shipping for the single editions is starting now and it will take about at least 2 weeks to complete the task. Thank you for your patience!

Because the physical media publishing agreement between Broadteck and Disney China is expired, now Disney China is talking with several other possible candidates with a new contract. All Blufans Disney exclusive releases are pending until that is being settled. The release and others could be possibly out in early 2020. Please stay tuned for any new development!

I was told that the contract negotiation between Disney and its distributor in China is still irreconcilable. Their talks will likely be continued into Q2 of 2020. Until then there is nothing for Blufans can do, but waiting, like all of us.

The physical media is currently abandoned by Disney in mainland China, Unfortunately they've decided focusing solely on the streaming media there. We will see if they are going to change that in 2021. Until then, Sadly No Disney title releases from Blufans at this moment.

For another OST steelbook release The chance is always there.
But Blufans still prefer waiting a bit longer and doing a proper release, hopefully in the near future. Thank you again for your support!

Sorry to report. Each release will only have 2000 steelbooks made print-run wise. There will be no chances for group buys here.
